Welcome to Exposed!

Located in the quaint town of Lombard, Exposed is a small intimate salon composed of 6 exceptionally trained stylists. The salons design is meant for our clients to feel relaxed as soon as they walk through the door. We keep a welcoming atmosphere while working incredibly hard to ensure our clients have the best experience. We encourage you stop in and see what all the talk is about, we’d love to meet you! We would prefer you make an appointment, but walk-ins are always welcome!

Our specialties range from Upstyles, Formal Hair and Makeup, Retexturizing, Permanent Straightening, Perming, Advanced Color Placement, Texturized Cutting, Precision Cutting and various Blow Drying and Styling. We also offer relaxation techniques including Scalp Massage and Therapeutic Conditioning Treatments. Call today to schedule an appointment or stop by anytime. We take most credit and debit cards for payments, but tips can only be given in cash.

Anna has been in the field for over 18 years. Being a former educator for Matrix she is the definition of an expert in the beauty industry. She is a jack-of-all-trades and excels as an educator, stylist, and business owner. Her specialties include curly hair, highlighting, specialty color, and men’s haircuts. Anna has a unique ability to create looks that can be both natural and trendy. In News

Working in the industry for 10+ years Katie’s work speaks for itself and shows her true talent for designing hair. She is incredibly passionate about her clients and will do anything to make sure her clients feel beautiful and educated before walking out of the salon. Specializing in innovative color, cutting, and styling she is truly an expert in the field.

Mackenzie is a passionate hairstylist dedicated to helping you look and feel your absolute best. She specializes in hair extensions, custom hair color, haircuts, and keratin smoothing treatments. Bona is an experienced stylist whose talent was first cultivated in Albania and has flourished in the United States for over 16 years. She is highly skilled in color, haircutting, formal styling, and makeup artistry. With a passion for creativity and a dedication to her craft, Bona strives to make every client feel beautiful, confident, and truly cared for. Her warm personality and expert eye for detail ensure a personalized experience and consistently stunning results.

Leslie

Stylist

Leslie is a graduate of College of DuPage Cosmetology where she pursued her passion for all things hair: cutting, coloring, styling, and waxing! Having curly hair herself, Leslie loves teaching others how to style their curly hair, and can suggest the right cut for your curls. Her favorite service is women’s and men’s haircuts and is always willing to help you discover your next favorite style. Let her do your next updo!

Sara’s passion for beauty allows her to provide clients with a unique experience. She specializes in color, cuts, and makeup! Whether you’re in need of a makeover or simply craving a moment of relaxation, Sara is here to meet all of your needs.

Stylist

Lauren is a talented stylist who graduated from Tricoci University where she pursued her love for hair and making people feel beautiful! She specializes in blonding, lived in color, cuts and styling, but her main priority is connecting with her clients and ensuring they feel their most confident self walking out of the salon. Whether it’s a classic style or a new trendy look Lauren is here for all your hair styling needs!

Diane

Stylist

In Memoriam Everyone has their muse. Mine was my mom. She inspired The Exposed Salon. Diane Disylvester was a hair legend and one of the first women to create a female owned business in a male dominated world. “I can’t” was never part of her vocabulary. Diane opened her first business at 18, which is commendable alone, especially in the 1960s. She worked from early morning to late at night six days a week. Additionally, she won many awards for hair design throughout her career, especially for formal hair.
